A winemaker for over 20 years, Robert has lectured and spoken on the subject of wine and wine culture on 3 continents. the has held industry leadership roles in marketing organization, business lobbying groups, grower concerns, and help found non-profit regional promotion groups. He has represented these groups and his family winery on CNN, ox, NBC, in numerous publication including Salon magazine, National Geographic, and Wine Enthusiast.

He has also done much of this hung over or still a bit drunk from the night before. He once missed a Master Court of Sommelier test that he had been preparing months for, because a "friend" open numerous rare bottles the night before. He has taught blind tasting, wine lingo, and wine 101 course. He ran a study group for aspiring sommelier. He was also nominated as Scottsdale Most Eligible Bachelor twice.

He currently resides outside of Boston with his wife, son, and daughter. As well as their award wining Monmouth Terriers.
